does HTTP Version mean?

Some clients, including
Microsoft Internet Explorer, have been known to act differently using
HTTP/1.1. To correct this switch to HTTP/1.0 in the Advanced Options
area.
What
does the "Whois" button do?
- Top
The Whois button shows
User and Moderator status. If you are unsure you are chatting with a
Moderator choose the name and click "Whois". It will tell you
if this person is a Moderator.
What
is the "Away" button for?

If you need to step away
from your computer, click on the "Away" button and a message
will appear to the user posting you that you are away from your
terminal. When you come back simply click "Away" again and you
will see a message that you are no longer away.
How
do I post an image?

You can post an image by
using the "Toolbox" button. Click on it to open the
"Toolbox". Add the URL of the picture you wish to post in the
box provided and push the "Image" button. This will put the
proper HTML coding into the chat box for you to submit.

do I post a link?

You can post a link by
using the "Toolbox" button. Click on it to open
"Toolbox". Add the URL of the link your wish to post in the
box provided and push the "Link" button. This will put
the proper HTML coding into the chat box for you to submit.

do I close the Toolbox?

Simply click the
"Toolbox" button again.
What
is Squelch?

By selecting a user name
and pushing the "Squelch" button you are putting that person
on ignore. You will no longer see any of their posts. If you would like
to see who has been "Squelched" by you, just select
"ALL" from the user list and push "Squelch" again.
It will show you a list of names on the screen. If you wish to unsquelch
someone select the user you have already squelched and click the
"Squelch" button.
How
do I make my font colored?

When you are in the room
go to "Config" and put your HTML codes in the prefix box.
Where
can I find a Moderator?
- Top
Click on the
"Mod" button located on the bottom frame of your chat window.
A list of available moderators will appear. You can click on one of the
names and send a telegraph to that moderator telling them where you can
be found.
How
do I send a Telegraph?

Click on the
"Find" button located on the bottom frame of your chat window.
Type in the chatters name you wish to find. A screen will appear telling
you what room the chatter is in. You can either go there or send a
message to them.
Was
I booted?

Only a moderator can boot
you. If you were indeed booted you will see a yellow message stating it
on your chat screen.
What
is Listen?
- Top
Choose a name from the
list and click the "Listen" button to only see their posts. It
basically acts like a private chatroom. Click on the users name again
followed by the "Listen" to reverse it.
What
is Verbose?
- Top
Verbose is only a line
that comes up on your screen to separate posts for easier reading.
How
do I stop the Auto Scrolling?
- Top
Uncheck the Auto Scroll
box on the screen and you will be able to scroll manually.
