General Gorean Site Rules

All Site Rules MUST be read and observed.

IGNORANCE OF THE RULES IS NO EXCUSE

APPLICATION for a room in the GOREAN SECTION should be made to the Section Leader, Relius (Relius@sizzlingchat.com) and to SC admin (admin@sizzlingchat.com) for consideration.
A Room outline including, at the least a room name, an entrance page and room rules must be included in the application. A link to the rooms web pages must be supplied after approval.

Be unique, no doubling up of rooms.
Once approved, payment should be made and forwarded with a list of pull downs, room design, and mod designation to the SC admin (admin@sizzlingchat.com) for processing.

Room Owners have the liberty here at Sizzling Chat of creating their room how they deem fit. You are adults and responsible for keeping the peace and upholding any of your room rules, site rules and general Gorean site rules. The Section Leader and other Sizzling Staff are not here to act as mediators. If you don't like how your room is running, you have the power to fix that. Remember at all times

Map For the benefit and enhancement of your Gorean role play experience, we are providing a rendition (English Version) of the map published in the German issue of Renegades of Gor.
Due to the large size of the full map, copies of both the north and south are also provided below.

DUALLING (one person having two or more different characters at the same time anywhere in Gorean online role play) is NOT permitted and when brought to notice will result in at least one the characters being sent to the COD. If the RC of the offending persons Home is not available to eliminate the offending person, or if the person fails to comply with the character being sent to the COD, the person will be banned from SC until the matter is settled.

BLACKS/ASSASSINS It is up to each individual to read the room rules before entering to confirm if that room does or does not accept Blacks/Assassins.
Any Room Owner/Registered Member that is a Member of a specific Homestone that accepts Blacks be warned that the Section Leader and/or the site will not game out on any legitimate kill judged by two recognized judges selected from each site/homestone.
If there is any question regarding the validity of a script, room logs will be obtained from SC admin to provide a complete and unedited record of the happening.

These rules are not to be confused with or be read to replace the Open Combat rules found in the Spar Rules linked above.

CAPTURE on SC should be fairly negotiated for return unless stated otherwise on the entrance to a specific room. No capture shall exceed a period of three days offsite or five days onsite.

If the capture is deemed to have not been legitimate role play, then the rules for judging as above will apply.

Note: If any room owner/mod is aware that someone has entered their Homestone with a grudge, seeking a kill or capture, without any existing valid role-play, remove the person from the home and keep records so that should it become a persistent problem it can be dealt with in a timely manner.

REGISTERED ANIMALS in the Gorean Section must belong to one of the Homes on Sizzling Chat and may be used on a casual basis. No full time animals, thanks. They are not to be used as a means to kill any "Chatter" but to enhance role play and may be registered on the Site Message Boards.

FACE OF GOR is the SC travel/general role play room. It is NECESSARY to read the rooms rules and use the appropriate entrance and pull downs within the room as to your whereabouts. Someone on the plains would not be able to have an open dialogue and/or role play with someone aboard a ship on the Thassa seas.
Free Women and slaves beware, travelling alone may result in your capture, enslavement, re-collaring, or even death. Claiming you did NOT know or suggesting unfairness after you enter will be looked upon as your poor judgment. By entering without reading the rules YOU ARE AT RISK.

MESSENGERS Any message carried that speaks for a room owner/or the RC of a Home (sender), will only be delivered and accepted by the RC of the receiving Home. If an RC needs to pass a message to another RC that is unavailable, we would suggest email or board IM be used.
Off site messengers will comply with each individual Homes rules concerning messengers.

SIZZLING STAFF As stated above, SC Staff are NOT mediators. If there is a problem in a room that needs assistance and no room mod is available, a Site Mod or SC admin should be called for assistance. If the Site Mod has no knowledge of Gor and/or a Site Mor or SC admin is not available, first ask all participants in the room to squelch the offensive chatter. Be sure you keep a copy of any scripts with time stamps. Immediately email the room owner and SC admin with details of the problem and the copied scripts.
If a Site Mod or SC admin is already in a another room, please assume they are thre assisting others and exercise patience. Again, the use of the squelch button will assist you until they are able to arrive at your location.
If you are simply wishing to discuss a matter with the Section Leader, a Site Mod or SC admin, please have the courtesy of asking if they are available. DO NOT interrupt another room to discuss any matter that does not relate to that room. The Section Leader, Site Mods and SC admin will be most willing either to come to you or meet you in a mutually convenient place.

AVATARS used should be appropriate for Gor and comply with Site Regulations of 350 pixels in height and 500 pixels wide.
Animated avatars are prohibited at Sizzling Chat.

GOREAN ROLE PLAY IS EXPECTED IN THIS SECTION
It is to be kept within the Gor Section and NOT forced on other Sections of the Site where it is totally inappropriate.
We do not welcome interference in our role play by other sections of the site, they most certainly do not need Gor in theirs.

Please feel free to visit elsewhere on the site, showing the same courtesy not only expected in Gor, but demanded in Gor,
by reading the rules for the room you wish to visit and by removing your Gor tags before entering.
